The Department of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking to identify a qualified surgeon to serve as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Mount Sinai West and Mount St. Luke’s Hospitals. Ideal candidates must be board certified in plastic surgery and be eligible for appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level. This position encompasses a wide array of plastic surgery procedures, including but not limited to hand surgery and reconstructive surgery. The candidate must have a proven record that includes mentoring faculty and residents, significant administrative skills, a strong interest in academic research, and clinical expertise in the multidisciplinary care of plastic surgery patients. The successful candidate must be a highly motivated and enthusiastic collaborator, possessing the skills necessary for collegial interaction among multiple specialties and departments. The candidate must have strong leadership abilities in building and supporting a multidisciplinary service.
