||Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship

||Albany Medical College is offering a one-year fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery starting July 1, 2018. The fellowship includes free flap reconstruction of the breast, head and neck and extremities. Albany Medical Center is a busy level 1 Trauma center and is a tertiary care center for eastern NY with a large catchment area. Operative cases will include microsurgical free flaps, complex reconstructive surgery including local flaps and perforator flaps as well as the opportunity to perform general plastic surgery cases. There are no replants as part of the fellowship. The fellow will attend a flap course of their choice as well as the annual ASRM meeting. The fellowship duration is 12 months. The applicant will have successfully completed an ACGME accredited program in plastic surgery.
