||Penn Plastic Surgery is excited to announce a new staff position, ‘Director of the Penn Plastic Surgery Microsurgery Program at Lancaster General Hospital’. Lancaster General Hospital (LGH) is a tertiary health care system about 60 miles from Philadelphia, situated in picturesque Lancaster County. It is a major affiliate institution of the University of Pennsylvania Health System (Penn Medicine LGH) and features a new state of the art free standing Cancer Center and a comprehensive Breast Program. From our Philadelphia campus, Penn Plastic Surgery is currently staffing the microsurgical needs for LGH, performing an average of 6-7 bilateral free flap breast reconstructions each month. We absolutely have a need for a full time physician whose skills include all other areas of reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. We are open to applicants who currently practice reconstructive microsurgery or to current microsurgery fellows who anticipate completing their fellowship in the near future. We seek candidates who embrace and reflect diversity in the broadest sense. The University of Pennsylvania is an EOE. Minorities/women/individuals with disabilities/protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
