||Job Description: The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a clinical research fellow to start July 1, 2018.
The applicant should have a strong clinical interest in reconstructive plastic surgical procedures, patient reported outcomes and quality of life metrics. The service is looking for a 1-2 year commitment from a qualified candidate in the medical field (i.e. medical student, resident, fellow).
The division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at MSKCC is a high-volume, academic group that specializes in complex oncologic reconstructions of the head and neck, breast, trunk and extremity as well as lymphedema surgery. The fellowship would encompass projects across these disciplines. Applicants are expected to have a basic understanding of statistical analysis, and will gain experience in all areas of clinical research methodology (protocol design, IRB submission, project implementation, data collection, data analysis, abstract preparation and presentation, manuscript drafting).
