||Palmetto Health / University of South Carolina is seeking a Board Certified or in the process of certification Plastic Surgeon(s) to join a unique practice opportunity located in Sumter, South Carolina on the Palmetto Health Tuomey Hospital campus. The position includes a full faculty appointment at a practice affiliated with the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of South Carolina (USC) School of Medicine located only 45 miles away in Columbia, South Carolina. The position would involve practicing somewhat independently in a clinically focused environment, while maintaining involvement with the academic teaching program at the University of South Carolina. This would include participation in all the teaching conferences within the division, as well as, taking part in the residency training program. This position requires a plastic surgeon willing to perform a broad range of cases to include: breast reconstruction, hand surgery, and cosmetic surgery. Complex trauma and complex pediatric cases are transported to our Level 1 Trauma Center or Childrenís Hospital facilities in Columbia, SC.
