Job Title: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clinical, Clinical X, In-Residence, Adjunct) Plastic Surgery
Date Available: Immediate
Location: UC San Diego, San Diego, California
Description: The University of California, San Diego, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery is seeking a Hand or Microsurgery Faculty for a full time academic position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor level. Responsibilities include clinical care, research, and teaching in hand and/or microsurgery. Expertise in microsurgical reconstruction procedures/techniques is required.

Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Must have an MD and Board certification or in the process of certification in Plastic Surgery
  2. Completed fellowship training in microsurgery or hand surgery at the time of appointment.
  3. Must have or be able to obtain a California medical license.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based the candidate’s qualification and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
