Job Title: Assistant or Associate Professor with Microsurgery Interest

Description: The University Of Missouri Division Of Plastic Surgery is seeking a Board certified or in the process of certification plastic surgeon to join our division in the Department of Surgery at the Mizzou campus in Columbia, MO, at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level.

A qualified candidate will be ABPS Board certified or in the process of certification, having completed residency training in an accredited plastic surgery training program. Additional subspecialty fellowship training may be beneficial. We are looking for someone interested in a tenure track position with excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in research and innovation, as well as an interest in teaching. Clinical interests may be variable, but microsurgery experience will be of interest. The position can be constructed to allow protected research time and support. The surgeon will be a full-time faculty member of our School of Medicine, contributing to the education of both medical students and our plastic surgery residents.

The plastic surgery residency program here at Mizzou was established in the early 70ís and was one of the five original integrated residency programs approved in 1995. It has enjoyed continuous accreditation since inception. We are a closely knit group with 10 outstanding residents, experienced staff and nurses, making for a very efficient and enjoyable work experience.
