||The Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Hand Surgery at West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV invites applications for a faculty position within the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Hand Surgery. The successful candidate will have a focused interest and training in comprehensive hand surgery and general reconstruction. This position is open rank and may be either tenure or clinical (non-tenure) track dependent upon the qualifications and goals of the individual. Surgeon will be based at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
The candidate must be a graduate of an ACGME accredited Plastic Surgery training program. Candidates must be board certified or in the process of certification in Plastic Surgery and hold a Certificate of Additional Qualification (CAQ) in Hand Surgery. Candidates must be able to obtain a West Virginia license.
Hand fellowship and microsurgical proficiency is required. Involvement with resident and medical student education, and pursuit of scholarly activities are requisite. Applicants will need to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, and be committed to ongoing performance improvement and hand program development.
