||The Division of Plastic Surgery at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas is offering a one-year fellowship in microvascular and complex reconstructive surgery to begin July 1, 2019. Applicants must have successfully completed plastic surgery residency training and be in the process of Board certification. The fellowship will take place in the context of a busy academic microsurgical practice and plastic surgery residency engaged in treating the full spectrum of complex reconstructive conditions encountered in a tertiary referral center. Experience includes heavy exposure in both head and neck and breast reconstruction in addition to various other reconstructive endeavors such as post-traumatic limb salvage, reconstructive hand microsurgery, and oncologic trunk reconstruction. The Division of Plastic Surgery performs all complex head and neck reconstruction allowing a robust experience in this arena. Involvement in ongoing clinical and translational research efforts will be a component of the fellowship curriculum as will active participation in resident education.
