||The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking to hire a Board certified or in the process of certification, hand fellowship trained plastic surgeon to join their Section of Hand Surgery. This position is open rank. The candidate will be primarily based at Center for Advanced Medicine in South County, which is a brand new multi-specialty clinical office and ambulatory surgery center 25 minutes from the main campus.
Applicants must have the vision and drive to grow hand and reconstructive plastic surgery in the St. Louis community. Microsurgical proficiency is required and involvement with resident and fellow education is expected. Applicants will need to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, as well as, be committed to ongoing performance improvement. Dedication to enhancing a diverse workforce and academic environment is vital.
The candidate must be a graduate of an ACGME accredited Plastic Surgery training program as well as an ACGME accredited Hand Fellowship. Candidates must be Board certified or in the process of certification in Plastic Surgery as well as eligible for certification in Hand Surgery. Candidates must be able to obtain a Missouri license.
