||Indiana University School of Medicine Division of Plastic Surgery is seeking a hand and microvascular surgeon to join its growing faculty. The ideal candidate will be primarily interested in a busy hand and upper extremity practice, but interested and capable to support general plastic surgery and microsurgical reconstructive services. The position involves an ideal mixture of upper extremity trauma, peripheral nerve, microvascular tissue transfer, and elective hand and upper extremity cases at an extremely busy urban Level 1 trauma center with additional coverage of a suburban hand surgery office. Appointment on the clinical or tenure track and level to be determined by qualifications and experience. Our faculty work in clinical environments and on research activities to help improve patient care and teach the next generation of plastic surgeons.

Basic Qualifications: Must be board-certified, or in the process of certification and must have completed an ACGME – approved fellowship in hand surgery with a subspecialty certificate or plans to seek a subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand (previously CAQ Hand). Additionally, candidates must be interested in educating both residents and fellows, and have an interest in research and administration. Excellent communication skills and interest in working in a collaborative / team-oriented environment are essential.
