|Description:||The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Surgery is seeking applicants for the position of Academic Burn Surgeon based at the Timothy J. Harnar Burn Center at University Medical Center, our primary teaching hospital. The Timothy J Harnar Burn Center is the 12th busiest in the nation, with robust adult and pediatric volume and a busy inpatient and outpatient surgical practice.
The successful candidate must be either Board certified or in the process of certification in General Surgery with additional fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Burn or Trauma, or they may be Board certified or in the process of certification in Plastic Surgery. The candidate should have exemplary clinical skills, a team spirit, collegiality, an interest in teaching and clinically based scholarly activity. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.
