Job Title: Microsurgery Fellowship

Location: University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN
Description: Opening July 1, 2019. The 12 months Microsurgery fellowship provides in-depth experience with breast, head and neck, and extremity microsurgery. The fellows are involved with surgical cases at Methodist University Hospital (MUH) and Baptist Memorial Hospital (BMH). Opportunities to participate in perforator flap, robotic-assisted, hand and upper extremity, facial reanimation, and cosmetic surgery are available. Interest in research, travel and moonlighting can be accommodated. The Micro Fellow is strongly encouraged to participate in the Plastic Surgery Program including Grand Rounds, Journal Club, clinics and operative procedures. UTHSC ONLY accepts J-1 Visas at this time.

All applicants, including international foreign medical graduates, who have passed USMLE Step 1, 2 and 3 are eligible to apply. Accepting applications until March 25, 2019. The following documents are REQUIRED to apply to the program: CV, 3 letters of reference, USMLE Scores (Step 1, 2 and 3 are required). A copy of state medical license. A signed letter from current program director indicating that applicant is in good standing in the current training program. ECFMG Certificate (if applicable). Only applications with all the above documentation will be considered. Applicants must also have completed a Plastic Surgery Training Program to apply. Please do not send partial applications.
