Q: I just received an invitation to interview at a program, but I’ve already accepted another invitation for the same day. What should I do?
A It is both courteous and professional to give as much notice as possible to the program for which you are cancelling. That allows the program to reach out to another applicant in hopes of filling the vacancy.

Q: I didn't get a first-round invitation to interview with a program. Does that mean I won’t get an invitation from them at all this season?
A: That is not necessarily the case. As the interview season develops, applicant cancellations occur, thus creating a vacant interview spot. If you’ve applied to a program, they may contact you to fill the vacant spot.
