|Description:||The Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the Division of Pediatric Plastic/Cranio-maxillofacial Surgery is excited to announce a new pediatric plastic/craniofacial fellowship position to be based at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies Children's Hospital. The University Hospitals system is a large tertiary health care system with over 10 major hospitals located in Cleveland, OH. University Hospital and Rainbow Babies Hospital feature a nationally ranked state of the art NICU including a comprehensive cleft/craniofacial and vascular anomalies program. We seek to match fellows whose expertise and research interests are in Pediatric Plastic and Cranio-maxillofacial surgery including congenital anomalies, maxillofacial trauma, hand surgery, and microsurgery.
Strong applicants will have the following qualifications: 1) be board eligible or certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery; 2) have a record of academic accomplishments to merit appointment at the rank of Clinical Instructor; and 3) be able to obtain permanent and unrestricted Ohio medical licensure. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated clinical or basic science research accomplishments and interest in maxillofacial surgery/ bone carpentry, microsurgery, and complex reconstruction. Compensation and academic rank are dependent upon qualifications; the position includes a generous package of fringe benefits.
