|Description:||The Department of Plastic, Burn and Wound Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking an additional BC/BE plastic surgeon for a position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor (tenure or non-tenure track) to join our group of 12 plastic surgeons and a PhD engineer.
Qualified candidates will have a special interest in breast reconstruction and microsurgery and have completed fellowship training in micro-vascular surgery. Candidates should possess excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in education and research.
All faculty are required to take an active role in our integrated residency in Plastic Surgery and microsurgery fellowship program.
Clinical and basic science research is encouraged and supported. Laboratory facilities are also available.
A generous compensation package with production incentives is offered along with academic rank commensurate with training and qualifications.
