The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Department of Surgery at the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine is recruiting a residency-trained Plastic Surgeon for a 1.0 FTE position available at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited Plastic Surgery residency program and be eligible for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The position will primarily focus on adult hand surgery, and may have time and coverage dedicated to general plastic surgery. This position involves the care of patients at the University of Colorado Hospital and its affiliates. The candidate must also demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine
  • Eligibility for Board Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
  • Demonstrated experience/training in hand surgery techniques
  • Eligibility for subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand (SOTH or CAQ)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in plastic & reconstructive clinical, education and research efforts
  • Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical or basic science research experience
