|Description:||We are seeking a board certified / board eligible plastic surgeon with expertise in microsurgery and gender-affirming surgery. This surgeon will join a large and growing academic practice with a fully developed, multi-disciplinary gender affirming surgery team. Other clinical areas will include breast reconstructive microsurgery as well as head and neck microsurgery. Experience and interest in lymphedema are desired.
This a full-time faculty position, with an academic appointment commensurate with the applicant's qualifications. As a faculty member at Vanderbilt, you will have an active role in training students, residents and fellows -- education is an essential component of this role. Experience with research and advocacy are considerations but are not required.
