Description: The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate for a non-ACGME Transgender Surgery Fellow for one year. This 12-month fellowship will entail an instructor level appointment within the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The fellow will have the opportunity to teach residents, engage in research, and participate in clinical program development.

Areas of clinical focus include the complete spectrum of gender affirming surgery and general reconstructive surgery with opportunities in other aspects of plastic surgery. This fellowship is best suited to a surgeon seeking comprehensive training in transgender surgery, with an emphasis on evidence-based, affirming clinical care, interdisciplinary education, and research.

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
