|Description:||The Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the University of Pittsburgh is recruiting a plastic surgeon at the assistant/associate/professor level with a clinical and research interests in breast reconstruction and lymphatic surgery. This position offers the opportunity to join a thriving academic, clinical and research department in a national center of excellence. This individual would join an established breast reconstruction team based at an academic tertiary care facility and engage in all aspects of academic surgery, including clinical care, teaching learners of all levels, clinical research, and service for the department, the institution, and regional/national societies. The ideal candidate must hold an M.D. and have completed a fellowship in microvascular surgery. Interests in gender affirmation surgery and upper/lower extremity reconstruction are a plus. We seek an outstanding candidate who has a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence as well as academic productivity. Candidates with a strong background in reconstructive surgery are encouraged to apply.|
