Description: Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Carolina, seeks a board-certified Plastic Surgeon to serve as Division Chief at the Associate to Full Professor level. The division consists of 5 plastic surgeons practicing in various sub-specialties including craniofacial, hand, microsurgery, trauma, aesthetic, and general reconstructive surgery.

The Division Chief will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Surgery and be responsible for the continued growth of clinical and academic potential of the specialty, with a particular emphasis on microvascular reconstruction. The department has an integrated plastic surgery residency training program with one resident per year. In addition, general and orthopedic surgery residents rotate on the plastic surgery service along with medical school students. Interested individuals must have a demonstrated commitment to teaching, leadership and research with the ability to interact with fellow practitioners in a collegial fashion.
