Description: Outstanding Opportunity for Director of Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery in Miami
Nicklaus Children's Hospital, a 309-bed freestanding children's hospital and Level I trauma center, and Nicklaus Children"s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children's Health System, are seeking an exceptional board-certified plastic surgeon to serve as director of Craniofacial Surgery.
This is a full-time employed position primarily assigned to Nicklaus Children"s Hospital. The candidate must be fellowship trained in craniofacial surgery and have extensive experience in the areas of craniosynostosis, distraction osteogenesis, orbital surgery, cleft lip and palate care, and other such areas. In addition, the candidate must be skilled at managing other pediatric plastic surgery issues including nevi, vascular anomalies, and wound care. Preference will be given to those candidates with orthognathic experience.

-Full-time with both inpatient and outpatient work
-Opportunity to co-lead the multidisciplinary craniofacial team
-Responsible for providing patient care, teaching fellows, residents and students in their specialty of plastic surgery and participating in clinical research
