|Description:||The Department of Plastic, Burn and Wound Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking an additional BC/BE plastic surgeon for full time faculty position with specialized training and interest in Hand/Upper Extremity/Microsurgery. Applicants are invited at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor (tenure or non-tenure track) based on experience.
Qualified candidates will have a special interest in hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery, have completed an accredited fellowship in Hand Surgery and be eligible for the CAQ in Hand Surgery. Candidates must also be board certified/eligible in Plastic Surgery.
Candidates should possess excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in education and research. Clinical and basic science research is encouraged and supported. Laboratory facilities are also available. All faculty are required to take an active role in our integrated residency in Plastic Surgery and microsurgery fellowship program.
A generous compensation package with production incentives is offered along with academic rank commensurate with training and qualifications.
