Assistant Professor, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Job Overview
The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty physician to join a well-balanced and multispecialty group of providers.

Essential Functions
As part of UC Health, our division of Plastic Surgery serves a broad population and is the sole academic health system in the southwestern Ohio region, including patients from northern Kentucky, eastern Indiana, and southern Ohio. UCMC offers Quaternary Care and is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in our region. The successful candidate will participate in resident education, conferences, ambulatory clinics, and in the operating room.

Minimum Requirements

  • Eligible for full, unrestricted licensure in the state of Ohi

  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine

  • Completion of residency in Plastic Surgery 

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Preference for a fellowship trained plastic surgeon in the area of microvascular breast reconstruction and lymphedema.

  • Excellent clinical and communication skills

  • Commitment to our diverse, underserved patient population

  • Microsurgery fellowship completion
